Realise the Eternity Within

This world is not our true home, and we are not the body nor the mind, not the intellect nor the senses. Our true essence is spirit or soul.

The embodied soul continuously passes, in this body, from boyhood to youth to old age, the soul similarly passes into another body at death. A sober person is not bewildered by such a change.
BG 2.13

The soul is a part of God that migrated away from God aeons ago and yearning to return to its Source.

The living entities in this conditioned world are My eternal fragmental parts. Due to conditioned life, they are struggling very hard with the six senses, which include the mind.
BG 15.7

This human existence is the opportunity for our soul to find its way back - its a brief sojourn in our soul's long voyage back to its Source. The journey to return home is the journey of the spirit, or what is known as the spiritual journey.

Embarking on the inner spiritual journey, we experience ourselves in our true form and awaken to the reality of life.

However, we take this physical world to be our home and take our body - a vehicle made of matter to be our true identity, not realising that we are, in reality, spirit, the power that enlivens the body.

In the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna proclaims, mama vartmānuvartante manuṣhyāḥ pārtha sarvaśhaḥ - everyone follows My path, knowingly or unknowingly.

Being equanimous, and absolutely unaffected by the happenings in our lives takes us closer to bliss, and it requires sadhana. For success in this endeavour, we must make a sincere and earnest effort, and chant regularly and diligently, so that we can take steady steps God-ward.

“Pure love for Kṛṣṇa is eternally established in the hearts of the living entities. It is not something to be gained from another source. When the heart is purified by hearing and chanting, this love naturally awakens”.
---Chaitanya charitamrta

Its our responsibility to seize the breaths we have been given so that our soul can cross the great ocean of life, realise his relationship with God and reach the abode of God.
